Who is Blake?

My passion for game design started on the PS2 when I was 4, I had a love for video games and I had a need to understand how and why designers made the design decisions they made and understand how the games I love are made. At the age of ten, I enrolled in an extracurricular course in game design, which ignited my commitment to creating games for the rest of my life. During high school, I participated in a three-year game design elective that further deepened my appreciation and understanding of the field. Spending most of my lunch breaks with my game design teacher exploring different concepts and developing my own game projects. Exploring the intricacies of gameplay mechanics and developing my own has gone far beyond a simple interest; it has become a profound passion.

Once I was accepted into Sheridan’s Bachelor of Game Design program, I refined my skills and gained comprehensive knowledge across nearly every department involved in game development. Over the five years of my studies, I collaborated with numerous teams and seized every opportunity to work on personal passion projects. Now I am graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Game Design and have even started a collection of physical video games which I use as inspiration for new gameplay mechanics and game ideas.
